Adding Placements

NEW PLACEMENT

1. From the Home Dashboard, click


“Manage Placements”
.

2. To create a new placement, open a new placement form by clicking:

“New Placement”

3. Placements form – you must fill all the fields shown in yellow.

PLACEMENT ID
Please create an ID of your choice for the placement

TIMESHEET METHOD
You must fill in the timesheet method. If an online contractor does not have this setting as ‘Online’ they will not be able to see their timesheets on their portal.

START DATE
Start dates are a mandatory field, if you know the end date please populate it but if it’s an open contract you don’t need to populate this field.

PRIMARY AUTHORISER
Choose the timesheet authoriser here for your contractor’s timesheet. This is only applicable for Online timesheets. It will trigger an approval email to be sent to your client when your candidate submits their timesheet. This field is NOT needed unless you are using Online or Job Timesheet method above.

TIMESHEET FREQUENCY
Please choose the timesheet frequency for the placement.

INVOICE CONTACT
Choose the invoice contact for this placement. Note that you will only be able to select from a list of contacts that are already set up in that client.

RATE
Add rates to the placement using the drop down arrow to choose the description and the ADD button on the right to pin those rates to the placement. You can add as many rates as you like but can only add one of each rate description.

CONSULTANT SPLITS
You can add consultant splits to your placement before saving, see next page for details.

SAVE
When you have finished inputting all the details, hit Save at the top to save the placement.

4. Placement Owners

You can select the owning consultant of the placement at the bottom of the placement. Just pick their name from the drop down arrow.

If there are splits on this placement you can add more than one consultant as the owner by click Add. You must make sure that the total split adds up to 100 or you will not be able to save the record.
